A simple tool made for one of the oldest kinds of work: separating leaf from stem by hand.
The Gathering Tool is a handmade wooden herb stripper designed for rosemary, thyme, lavender, mint, oregano, and other stemmed herbs. Feed the stem through the hole that fits best, pull gently, and let the leaves fall free.
Each piece is shaped and finished by hand, so the grain, color, and markings of the mahogany will vary naturally from one tool to the next.
Use it in the kitchen, herbal workspace, garden shed, or wherever you prepare the plants you’ve grown or gathered.
It is practical first, but we happen to think useful things can still be beautiful.

HOW TO USE
Choose the hole closest to the thickness of the stem. Thread the stem through and pull gently in the opposite direction of the leaf growth.
