Canarywood Gathering Tool

$18.00

Handcrafted Canarywood Gathering Tool

Made by hand from warm, richly grained Canarywood, this gathering tool was created for the hands-on work of the herbalist, gardener, hearth witch, green witch, and ritual maker.

A row of graduated holes allows fresh herbs to be drawn through the tool to help strip leaves from their stems. Different opening sizes accommodate everything from delicate herbs to thicker stems, making it useful for gathering and preparing rosemary, thyme, lavender, mint, and other botanicals.

But this piece was made for more than the kitchen.

The Gathering Tool can become part of the ritual itself. Used while harvesting herbs from the garden, preparing plants for spellwork, dressing an altar, blending ritual botanicals, creating simmer pots, preparing incense ingredients, or separating leaves from stems before drying and storing them.

Canarywood carries a naturally warm, lively appearance, with golden, amber, and deeper brown grain running through each piece. Within Wild Witch Rising, we work with that character as a symbol of vitality, creativity, movement, confidence, and bringing intention into physical form.

Use it while gathering herbs for:

  • protection and warding work

  • abundance and prosperity workings

  • ancestor or altar offerings

  • lunar and seasonal rituals

  • spell jars and charm work

  • ritual teas and herbal preparations

  • simmer pots

  • incense and botanical blends

  • drying herbs for later magical work

There is also a small opening in the handle for hanging the tool near your herbal workspace or altar when not in use.

Approximately 6 inches long.

Hand-shaped, sanded, and finished individually by Allen for Wild Witch Rising. Because this is natural wood and handmade work, variations in grain, color, markings, and shape are part of the piece rather than imperfections.

You will receive the actual handcrafted gathering tool shown in the product photographs.
